The first consultation for an adult may take two to four hours. This can be done in person or by phone anywhere in the world. At the end of this session Dr. Altmiller, Board Certified Homeopath and Doctor of Pharmacy, will determine the best remedy for your initial dose. You will receive the first remedy at this time. The second interview will usually take place 3-4 weeks later.
All initial appointment paperwork must be returned to IHHS 14 days before your appointment for analysis and review, by the homeopath/nutritionist. If the paperwork is not received in the required time, your appointment will be cancelled. Rescheduling will occur once your initial paper work is received.
Subsequent sessions will typically last 20 to 30 minutes after the first remedy is given. The individual's progress and personal choice aid in determining how often appointments are scheduled. Ultimately, the aim is for you to gradually get better and better, month-to-month. On your journey to health our goal is for your vital force to sustain and increase optimal health over time.

We have phone-in appointments for those who find it difficult to come to the office. We have a large number of clients that communicate by phone due to distance. Dr. Altmiller's clients are all over the USA, Canada, Europe, and India. Distance is not a problem for those seeking care, we are available.
Questions from existing clients by phone, apart from appointment time, will typically be returned the same day they are placed to the office. If we are not available leave a short message and a daytime telephone number with our exchange and we will receive the message the next business day. We will endeavor to return all calls the next working day. Please note that calls left on Friday may not be answered until Monday. There is no charge for questions and information during ongoing treatment. Fees are charged only when a remedy is dispensed.
Homeopathic treatment is private and payment is required at each consultation. We will be happy to provide you with any documentation needed to assist in receiving reimbursement from third party sources.
Over the counter products and low dose physical remedies are payable just as appointments are.

Consultation length is based on patient needs and preference. There may be remedies recommended to facilitate
Physis in your body. These remedies can be an additional cost of up to $16.00-$24.00 each but, the
constitutional remedy you receive after your visit you will receive at no cost to you. All payment is due upon
time of visit unless prior arrangements have been made. Please return your paperwork 2 weeks prior to your
appointment for preliminary assessment by Homeopath.

Due to our waiting list of clients, we must charge for any missed appointments.
Please, reschedule initial appointments four weeks in advance to refrain from being charged for a missed initial appointment. We schedule ½ a working day for these appointments and are typically scheduled at least a month in advance.
